Our co-founder Armina Rosenberg recently spoke with ABC about Anthropic's public listing and the broader implications for AI investment and productivity. As a global equities fund, we've been closely monitoring the AI race and its impact on enterprise productivity.
The conversation explored why trillion-dollar tech companies are rushing to public markets, with Armina noting this represents "a once-in-a-generation opportunity" as approximately 5% of US market cap comes to the bourse. She highlighted Anthropic's explosive revenue growth from $10 billion to $45 billion in just 16 months, demonstrating the scale of opportunity in AI infrastructure and frontier labs.
From our perspective as an AI-native fund, we're seeing tangible productivity gains. As Armina explained:
At Minotaur, I'd say we've spent as much in 2026 already as we did in the whole of 2025, so we've already far surpassed what we were spending last year... we've got, I think, 19 AI investment agents now that help us choose our portfolio, and the cost of the tokens to run those agents is well less than one first-year investment analyst if we were to hire one.
The discussion also covered how Australian companies are implementing AI, with insights on balancing experimentation with governance. To read the article, click the link below.
